5 More Energy and Weight Loss Juice Recipes to Help You Get the Results You Want Today

If you want to start juicing for weight loss (or looking for a way to boost your energy without caffeine), finding juicing recipes does not have to be complicated. There are plenty of great juicing ebooks on the web and if you search long enough you can find some really good recipes on a few websites. Hint, hint. 🙂

Use these juicer recipes to make drinks to help you with your weight loss and energy goals. A big part of losing belly fat is diet and juicing can help. If you want more energy, you have to give yourself the right fuel. These easy recipes should help with both. Plus, they are fast to make and fast to clean up. Essentially, all you need is a juicer and the ingredients listed.

This first recipe is a twist on an all-time favorite among homemade juice drinkers (you know us crazy people who juice instead of buying bottles and cans laced with poisons). People may have strong opinions, but juicing helps you to get more vitamins and nutrients into your system thanks to the extra servings of fruits and vegetables that you normally would not eat. Anyway, I am going to get off my soapbox. Drink to your health, wellness and full life.

Here are free juice recipes to enjoy.

Quick and Easy Juice Recipe for Energy no.1

  • 2 large apples
  • 2 medium celery stalks
  • 2-4 handfuls of kale
  • a small piece of ginger (or large if you’re daring)

This energy juice recipe is loaded with cleansing greens, vitamins and minerals. Feel free to ditch the ginger if you like, as I don’t always add it myself. Start with two bunches of kale unless you are familiar with the taste. I add it depending on my mood. The more sleepy I am, the more greens I add. Celery aids in alkalinity, plus it helps your digestive system and ginger helps reduce inflammation, which is a leading contributor to many diseases.

A combination of orange, carrot and tangerine juice is my usual when I wake up (Orange Tangerine Blast Energy Juice Recipe). This juice recipe is the direction I go when I want something different, really fresh and alerting to my senses. I think it is from the greenery in the juice. It is almost like the fresh air after an evening rain. Another thing about this juice is that I never add spice besides ginger. Maybe you can try some cayenne for an extra pickup. I simply enjoy the tasty blend of the Granny Smith apples with the kale.

Energy Boosting Juice Recipe no.2

Feel alive and fresh with this citrus blend loaded with Vitamin C.

  • 1 orange
  • 2 tangerines
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1/2 of a pink grapefruit (medium-sized)
  • 1 cup of fresh pineapple

This recipe is great during winter to give you that additional immunity boosting dosage of Vitamin C. Also, the blend of citrus fruits gives you a natural energy boost without the crash, the unwarranted B-12 or the excessive caffeine that comes from most energy drinks.

Remember to peel your citrus fruits or your juice will be bitter. Usually you can find fresh, sliced pineapple in the produce section at the supermarket.

Energy Juicing Recipe no.3

In my book, this is #1 energy juice. However, this is not a juice I drink routinely. If you do not know what it is, it is wheatgrass juice. However, if you do not have the time or money to make freshly pressed wheatgrass juice at home every day I have the next best thing, wheatgrass powder. If you do not have wheatgrass or would like some variation, use spirulina. Both have STRONG flavors so be warned.

At first I was like WOW and YUCK almost at the same time. Then I tried again and now I enjoy them both. While the other juices definitely give you energy and get you going, I have yet to have a juice take affect like a wheatgrass shot.

  • 1 scoop of wheatgrass powder or spirulina
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 2 handfuls of kale
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • the juice from ½ of 1 lemom
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley
  • 1 green apple (optional)

Because of the powder, you need to prepare this juice is two phases. First juice the celery, kale, lemon and ginger. After, pour your powder in a glass, pour in your freshly made juice and quickly stir. Of course, if you have a blender, you can juice then add to the blender, which is more clean up, but worth it. I actually do this sometimes because on some days I know my stirring won’t suffice and the powder will clump on the sides of the glass.

This drink gives you plenty of energy, is full of nutrient rich greens, and will basically catapult you into the day with force.

***Do not go around grumpy and sleepy people after drinking this.***

***For them you will be too alive, energized and happy.***

Now that you have a few recipes to throw in your juicer that aim to increase your energy, here is a pair of juices to help you lose weight. Remember to keep in mind though, that while almost all juices are good for you, juicing for weight loss generally requires combining more vegetables with less fruits.

Weight Loss Juicing Recipe no.1

  • 1 apple
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 2 sprigs watercress
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 whole cucumber

Cucumber and celery are both water dense and low in calories. The leafy green spinach is a nutrient rich, alkalizing vegetable loaded with chlorophyll and calcium. Watercress works along with celery to clean your system. The apple has benefits too, but in this recipe is serves mostly as a sweetener.

This last dieting juice recipe is powerful because it uses both rosemary and watercress, both of which are powerful cleansers. It’s not that they work overnight, BUT they do work with force and too much can be overwhelming.

Rosemary itself is used as an appetite suppressant and you may very well use rosemary extract in this recipe instead of the sprigs. The watercress, which is a natural diuretic, on the other hand works on your intestines, kidneys, bladder, blood and elsewhere looking to neutralizes toxins in your body.

Juice Weight Loss Recipe no.2

  • 1 lemon
  • 2 sprigs of watercress
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary (or extract)
  • 3 apples.
  • 1 dash of allspice

You can also add a pinch or two of allspice or nutmeg. This recipe is strong in flavor and has the unique combination of rosemary and lemon. If you add allspice (which can also help stimulate your metabolism), the rosemary taste may get lost so be careful not to add too much.

Thanks again for reading, I hope the juice recipes I’ve shared help you achieve your weight loss goals or help you safely extend the hours of your day.
